Here is a list of texturing jobs requiring the attention of a 2D artist. If you pick up one of these jobs please make a post here so everyone knows. Similarly, if you complete a job (or give up on it) post here also.
If you don't have access to the FTP and model dump directory I mal or ICQ transfer the appropriate archive to you.
Narn Station (Coming of Shadows)
Guidelines:
* Textures do not need to be square but the width and height of files must both be powers of 2 (eg: 2,4,8,16,32,64,128,256,512)
* BMP is the preferred format as that can be converted by us to whatever format is being used by the mod at the time.
* Texture files my be up to 1024 wide or high.
* Please use as few texture files as possible.

I've half finished the tloth central section ;)
-
I'm going to try and get you some help in the texturing dept. There may be a few ships on this list by the time I've finished going through modeldump.
-
Would be nice :D
Was going through my hd today and there is a finished poseidon supercarrier (lod0) there and also 75% complete octurion (lod0) aswell.
-
Ok, I'd like to give it a shot. But no promises. ;)
This my first non-original texture...

Just seen that, nice job. It'll now need LODs.

Hmm, the Vree Xill. Should be easy enough for the start.
Where is the UV map?
-
In the model dump on the FTP. If you can't access that give me your email address and I'll mail it to you. Also a little hint which will make sense if you look at any reference material. Use 24 not 25. Numbers which are divisible by 2 are helpful and nobody will notice the difference.
-
I think the model has a small problem. Well, hopefully it's just a smoothing problem.

Ignore it. We'll see if it's obvious when the thing is fully textured and in-game. If it is - well it's still no extra work for you. It's up to me to fix.
-
normally id re-apply the materianl to that section and all adjacent polies, if it still looks whack, check the uv map. little blemishes like this usually drive me into a psyco mode.

The UV will be perfect. I'm pretty good at uv mapping these days. I'll try reapplying the material once I get the textured model back from DaBrain. Thanks for the hint.
