Um... Did anyone ever try that overexposure/HDR/bloom-shader with Neverwinter Nights? Particularly in the winter-tileset? The map is pretty much impossible to use, but otherwise, aside from a slight drop in FPS when the fighting starts, it's... well...

why is this in SCP?

I assume it has some links with the FS2 overexposure. If not it's getting locked or moved pretty soon.
-
We did try it. There's a thread about it if you search for HDR

specifically.

Well, it an easy job to optimize the shader for FS2, but only if you got an ATI card.
I've no chance to do it without an ATI card. I can't test what I did.
Well, the DX Tweaker allows post filters for ALL cards, but there isn't a single custom shader to edit... :(
I can't write it completely from the scratch. I don't get the structure and there is no documentation. :(

Unless it actually includes a suggestion, off topic posts belong in the Hard Light forum, not the SCP forum.

Col Fishguts: True, true, but I don't have a place to store images online at the moment, and I'm too lazy/busy to change that situation. :) Still, you'd really have to see it for yourself to believe it. GORGEOUS! Even the main menu is an awesome sight!
UT: Well, alrighty then, I suppose Hard Light is better than SCP. But it does sort of spin off that shader-testing topic Raa dredged up.

send those images to me, I will put them on the ftp server

On topic, yes I tried this when I had an ATI card, the effect was a bit overdone but looked amazing overall in black space battles (nebuas were impossible)

Oh, this kept going? Sorry about the delay, I left the country for a little while. I'll try Imageshack when opportunity presents itself, then pop right back in with some glory-shots.
[Edit] Buggrit! The screenshots didn't catch the shader! Oh well. You'll just have to have a look on your own ATI-equipped machine. :)
