Title: The Last Tube
Post by: EtherShock on June 08, 2005, 08:37:55 pm
You'll think twice about taking that last train (http://www.thelasttube.com/) out of the subway after this. I'll never look at the subway the same way again...ever :nervous:

Warning: may be taxing on your computer.

:wtf: indeed.

*Shrugs* Maybe you don't have the latest version of Shockwave?

Interesting idea, but it would be nice if they explained how the character knew his life expectancy was going down. And who is that telling the player what the baddy's thinking? And since when do flashlight batteries last for 2 minutes?

In other words, I played for ten minutes, got bored and did something else. Although it did give a certain feeling of suspense for a bit, it really cuts down on the immersion factor when my computer can only let the character move at .001 mph.

I walked around for a bit, got bored, and waited till the "thing" got me. I was expecting a gruesome death, but all i saw was the screen going black, then the face of some deranged human being. Not very scary. The fact that the sound was gone after the first minute didn“t help any...

Public transport doesn't need flash animations to make it scary.

Apparently I didn't have Shockwave installed on Firefox (?!). So, basically, it's Shockwave, not Flash. :p They ARE different.

Ok, I played it, but the graphics are really choppy (and I didn't have sound on). I'd rather download it, with a save function hehe, and play it with hardware support, or something. It IS scary except it has a bit of a Resident Evil without the zombies and horrible monsters feeling. Ok, there IS the creep, but I never got to see it. :(

@neo_hermes: Me too. :)

How do you save shockwave and flash files? Do you have a special progam for it? I can't save it unless they have a special link to the file.

Ah OK, so basically you just look at the source and find out the name of the file.

Darn it...how do you do that with Firefox, Coolmon? Or is it even possible? I could always switch over to IE, though, so it's no big deal.
