Just felt I should pimp this album a bit - Empires of the World by a band called Biomechanical. Deeply, deeply cool. Sounds like Pantera crossed with a bit of Strapping Young Lad, Slayer and something else as well. I know we've got a fair percentage of metalheads here, so I thought I should get it some exposure. :) Sample tracks available for download in the "media" section of the website.

Is nobody at all interested? At least comment, even if you hated it...

Europe is as far as I go with metal :p

Nice stuff. That website is pretty scary, but the music is decent. Not fully the kind of stuff I listen to, but decent, nonetheless
Edit: Gotta exclude the vocals from that... I don't like their style. I'm more into growling, like Insomnium, for example :D www.insomnium.net (http://www.insomnium.net) , if you like

I liked the site, and I should have guessed that it would be Giger-esque from the band's name, so obvious....

Singing sounds almost like 80% Pantera + 20% Symphony X.

Well I'm glad some people liked it. :)
Slanker: I'm not really into growly death metal vocals - my preferred style is old-school NWOBHM (Rob Halford, Bruce Dickinson, etc), but I like Phil Anselmo's vocals on Cowboys From Hell (much better than on subsequent albums), and this is kinda like that. :)
Solatar: Glad you approve. ;)
Clave: The album art is pretty cool - Giger-esque, as you say. Did you listen to the sample songs?
Zarax: I'm not even going to comment on that.. :p
Dada daaa daaa, dada da da daaaaa........!

I tryed pimping a band here once, this comunity isn't very talkative about the subject.

Most are lazy to actually check out the stuff... I find it easier to talk about bands I know.

If I ever want to talk about a band or something, I'll usually just swing over to ultimate-guitar. Haven't posted around there in a fair amount of time, but I do like to watch the seemingly annual n00b roasts they have.
