Title: The Freespace Cutscenes
Post by: Lone Knight on June 17, 2005, 10:21:24 pm
Every time I want to view a cutscene from Freespace 1 and/or 2, I have to go onto the game in order to view them.

I have FS: Silent Threat, so I got the RUN-16S mini-movie thing, and copied it to my own folder so I can view it at my leisure.

Can I find the cutscene files to Freespace 1 and 2 and do the same thing?

I've actually been waiting for that to happen.

Indeed. I can't remember how many times that cutscenes have been mentioned in this section alone...

If there was some sort of easily noticeable and accessible information thingy, this wouldn't be a problem.

Also, look up 'mve player' or something similar. It might be in karajorma's faq, linked to in his sig.

i tried downloading karajorma's files, but they are all audio, not video.  Something made the files corrupt.

No, that means you just don't have the proper codecs. Go get one of the super codec packs available on the web.
