So I didn't tan too well, but it was a nice place (and yes I'm back a week early)

*chuckles* Close, but no cigar.

Tenerife is actually an island just north west of africa (well... a couple of hundred miles..)

Personal reasons mate, now I'm home I wish I could have stayed the full two weeks.

P.S. anyone know how to fix a Panasonic camera that won't eject it's miniDV tape?

Ahh - at least you enjoyed it while you were there. :)

As for the camera, what's it doing? is it jamming, or refusing to open, or not switching on? You could always plug it into your video and record off it onto a VHS tape...

I could, but I want to get the tape out :D

It's not actually jamming, it's just not doing ANYTHING. When you open the bottom slot on the DS35 the eject mechanism slides out the whole cradle and then spits out the tape.

Give it a kick? :D Not sure what to suggest - is nothing moving at all when you open the bottom? You could always try and take it apart, I suppose - just don't lose any of the bits. The cradle may have got stuck somehow, or there could be some sand or other crap in there...
