I wouldn't call spending the equivlent of $3200 for 8 hours a bargain.

And I've never heard of a "quid" until know.

quid is the term the local british use for the Pound, if im not wrong.

1 pound = 60-odd rupees
1 Dollar = 43 rupees

therefore 1.1-something $ = 1 pound?

ROTFLMAO!

1 quid = 1 british pound = 1.82 US dollars or therabouts.

He spent 12 pounds (my US keyboard can't make the symbol and I can't be arsed looking through character map for it) so that is about USD$22.

From my experience, it's impossible: you're born with it or not. For the others point of view, you're an heartless sunovabiatch or not :p
