Title: some old crap of mine
Post by: Bobboau on June 18, 2005, 05:38:24 pm: I just found this thing I made a long time ago, it was one of the first times I had made totaly origonal textures, it was a gunship that I was trying to make for BWO, but I got to this point and thought it was total crap so I stoped working on it, it predates SCP so it was going to have three very weak AAA beam turrets on the front, allong with a single bank of overpowered primaries (each of the smaller poorly modeled gun looking things comeing out of the engines, there was going to be like four gunpoints each slightly behind the other on each of these to give an over powered effect), and three huge missle banks, it was suposed to be realy fast but poor acceleration and manuverability.

just figured someone might want it.

Post by: Black Wolf on June 19, 2005, 03:18:02 am: Didn't notice this until I loaded into Modelview, but you're missing the texs BEAM4 and tgunship01-03a.

And your shield mesh didn't convert perfectly either (misses the tips of the fins), but it's easily fixed by stretching it 10% on the Z axis

I'd probably agree with BW, its a fairly unique design. Its almost Homeworldish come to think of it...

With a bit of tweaking it could come up very nice. :D :yes:

Well, I remember a Vasudan fighter of his, it was really neat, with a very good map (altho low res, but heh, that was long before the SCP). Shame you people have never seen it :D

would that be the Selket? I think a pic of it was released a while ago.

I could never really figure out how to manouver the veiwpoint correctly, I find it really clumsy. Thus I avoid TS like rape from a plague infested prisoner. :p
