And back to creating random and crappy stuff.
Right now, one day i hope this to be an ub3r mech of doom. but for today, its simply just a foot of a mech. 8K polies and counting :)
Making the structure of the mech's legs will be daunting, however, as I dont have any proper pictures of mechwarriors with which to refer to. Am I on the right track with the foot/ankle's upper structure? Does anything need changing? Feedback would be appreciated!

Damn, I'm disapointed. I looked at the pics first, and thought "damn, that's a great drop pod". But no. A mech foot. Ah well.

if u think about it, it looks like a beam cannon that grasps onto the side of a ship

Or maybe a heavily armored porta-potty, capable of being dropped into a hot combat zone from low orbit.

Apologies to Singh for the crappy photoshop job. :p

It'd make a nice drop pod, or even a transport.
The "foot" being clamps for cargo.

I wonder what unfortunate freighters get to carry those around regularly? Or if the Shivans ever exploded any of 'em...

Even though its hardly close to the use I expected for the foot, still a rather funny job - gave a nice laugh at the least :D

They did. Once. They gave up on that, tho. Splatters too much.
