If I really pick holes in it then the Deimos is a bit to blurred at the front, I had this problem with my renders using lens flare, and I never did work out how to make it less blurred except to sharpen it in photoshop. Hardly a major gripe but it'd look better IMO if you reduced the blur somewhat.

I see what Thunder means, if you start at the beam point and work backwards along the hull, you see that the part between the saddle in the hull and the beam glow, along the side of the ship, does look a bit blurred. Compare to the very back, which looks quite sharp. I don't know what causes it...

But the beam looks absolutely excellent. I would use a star flare myself instead of the ring, but that's just a style choice.  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/wink.gif)

Lookin' great. Though it's true that it is kind of blurred up the front... however, now I think you can pretty safely move onto getting that beam to hit something  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif) And we know you can!

WOW! It looks so different now! Especially since Adobe changed all of my monitor settings...  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/wink.gif) That green stands out a hella-lot!
