Is there a mod that lets the Sath open/close its claws and fire the subspace gun?

Not that i know of...

But in the vp's for inferno (i actualy never got far through playing it) there is mention of a sathanas that uses it's subspace weapon, though this was before bob's animation code so it shouldnt be opening-closing.

Anywyas, inferno is my best bet for somthing similar, but what do i know about inferno?

Proper claw movement would require deformable meshes, unfortunately...

But go ahead and prove me wrong! :p

Galemp and I were going to work on this at one point, using the animation code.  It's still on the back burner, but anyone else is welcome to try. ;)

You'd probably need to make a new Sathy model or Seriously carve up the old one to do this though?

Yeah, we never really got started because segmenting the whole arm (times 4) was a daunting prospect. :D
