theres probably already been threads like this but hell. music CDs only comedy cds etc. dosnt count
Tommy - The Who
Electric Sweat - The Mooney Suzuki
Permission to Land - The Darkness
-
The Darkness? Really?
-
Idlewild - Warnings/Promises
Geneva - Weather Underground
Belle & Sebastian - Push Barman to Open Old Wounds
Of course, it's never explained how you'd have both a hifi and power on said desert island.....
-
Is this supposed to be what you would listen to on a deserted island?
-
1. Flogging Molly - Within a Mile of Home.
2. Counting Crows - August and Everything After
3. The Pogues -....The best of.

I'm tempted to take that location literally.......
Yes. Have you never heard of Desert Island Disks?
-
Nope. I haven't either.
-
DJ Micro - Music Through Me
Blink182 - The Tom Mark & Travis show
Offspring - Americana
-
Nirvana - Nevermind
Metallica - S+M
The Beatles - 1 OR REM - In Time
Though TBH, I'd probably just fill 3 CDs with MP3s out of my Winamp playlist.
-
hmm lets go obscure here
Atheist - Unquestionable Presence
Cynic - Focus
Death - Human
-

Hmm. I thought that'd have crossed the Atlantic. Desert Island Disks was an old-and-still-running radio show where celebrities were asked to select 3 LPs they'd take with them to listen to if they were stranded on a desert island.
-
Dire Straits - Sultans of Swing (the album of course)
Foreigner - The Very Best and Beyond
Toto - Essential Toto

the only reason i picked that CD is because all the van halen i like is spread out over 3 or four disks, except best of both worlds, but that album dosnt count; theres too much hagar on it
that, and the darkness basically embodies my musical philosiphy -
and the moonies are pretty goddamn underground,
-
What an utterly evil question. :D
Tricky, but at this precise moment, I'd say:
Iron Maiden - Number of the Beast
Holst's Planet Suite
Primordial - The Gathering Wilderness
Though if facilities to play vinyl are available, I'd have to choose Isen Torr's "Mighty And Superior" EP as well - no arguments.
Please note that that list would change every hour or so for me. I couldn't pick only three records...
-
All three Lord of the Rings soundtracks :)

Sigur Ros - ( )

Any of theirs. I love Glay. ^^
