Interesting that the article makes it sound like Halo 3+ is taking precedence over the movie.

Well, what do you think will make more money? A sequel that just about evey single person that played Halo and loved it (not including me thankyou very much) is going to buy? Or a movie that's probably going to give no credit to the Game Universe at all - not unlike the Doom movie in develpment...Zombies Virus my ass...

Ahh, but anyone who's into Halo much at all will see the movie unless it's bad. And going by the quality of Halo 2's cinematics, if the same guys at Bungie are doing the movie, it'll be at least above average.

But if they don't take advantage of the big screen and offer anything more major than in the games, I imagine it won't do as well because people will have a "meh - who cares?" regarding the plot.
