I have to get my eyes checked soon, and I'm thinking about trying those transition (photo-sensitive) lenses. Anyone have any experience with these? It'd be nice to not have to carry around my magnetic sunglasses.

They're really nice. You won't notice them much when you have the on, but if you get new glasses you'll think "Aaaah! Too bright!" all the time. That happened to me, my current glasses aren't transition (because they're special anti-glare lenses or something) and it's way too bright.
If you have a girlfriend she might complain that she can't see your eyes though. ;)

[color=66ff00]As long as they're not Hitchiker's Guide style transitions.
Peril sensitive.

Oh forget it. I'd be screwed if they were peril sensitive. That's what my spider sense is for.

No; you'll end up looking like a paedophile-stroke-rapist, skulking about in glasses shaded just slightly too dark to be normal.

transition lenses actually don't get as dark as a the lenses in a serious pair of sunglasses. They get dark enough, though.
