Title: Anyone from around Giessen in Germany?

[color=66ff00]I'm applying for university placement there which will start in October if I'm accepted and I wanted to get some idea of what  to expect from the area (other than 25,000 students ;7 ).

Basically I go there as part of my university course which requires that I do one year of (paid, unless I go to america) work experience for my degree. I'm looking forward to it but I have to brush up on my German which I've heard is a resonably easy language to pick up.

German is doable, but I'm Dutch, and that kind off does help a tiny bit.

As for the town, I have no idea where it is, so can't help you there....

I live 70 kilometres from Giessen away.
