Is that vasudan or shivan, i always wondered when i saw it.

It seems to have some elements of both.

It looks more Vasudan to me. Shivan stuff typically doesn't have segmented "shingle" textures like that.

or a cockpit

Dunno 'bout that, some Shivan ships have what appear to "cockpit" structures. Definitely not that large, though.

's the same plating style used on the bakha concept. It's Vasudan.

I like the idea of these armor shudders on vasudan ships.

1) The cockpit is there

2) Raa wouldn't post it if it weren't Vasudan

= Conclusion:

It's Vasudan.

But it's spikey, looks like it could be some hybrid, like the sechemet ( i wonder if i spelled that right )

personaly i realy like the shivan concepts there, especialy the ravana and sathanas.

Sekhmat. And that's Vasudan, too.

I know, it wouldn't be a shivan-shivan hybrid would it?

its vasudan :p

So now that it's decided that it's Vasudan, what class would it be? I mean, it doesn't really look like an Interceptor, i'm thinking along the lines of either a Space Superiority Craft, or possiblya Strike Bomber, like the GTB Zeus...but then that's just my heavily distorted view...

Space sup, or light assault.

The armour is good, but the gun pods aer small.

Everything's a space superiority fighter.

Make it a space inferiority fighter. It fights inferiority in space by pwning fighters with its superiority.

I just wonder what the nice tail can do to enemy ships.

I can see this thing carving "Fish" on a Demon's underside.

Althought even :V: admit the shivans had something to do with it

The GVB Sekhmet is a Shivan design that was initially adapted to Vasudan needs by Hammer of Light engineers. The version currently in use was further modified by technicians at Mekhu Enterprises. Sporting four primary weapon banks and three missile/bomb bays, the Sekhmet packs a massive punch. Add in a top speed that surpasses that of some fighters and an ultra-dense molybdenum armor plating, and it's easy to see why the Sekhmet is the favorite bomber among Vasudan pilots.

Capture craft...  With the physical advantages of a Shivan we gotta find a better way to invade Shivan warships... and it looks a lot better than the battle taxi I did for  Origins (not to say that the battle taxi isn't any good),

Am I the only one who thinks that thing looks a hell of a lot like the Descent 2 bot that drained your ships shield energy in packs?

There must have been atleast 4 seprate d2 bots that drained energy.

Nope, just one, as far as I know.  It was the gold-colored one with two outstretched arms with static shooting between them.  Annoying little things, especially when your Gauss's splashback ended up hurting you when trying to kill them. :p The ship design has a slight resemblance, but it doesn't look that much like them.
