I've always wanted to put my "art" together someplace, and DeviantArt seemed like a pretty good place.
Some of my more recent comments may be a bit odd; I had trouble thinking, so I uploaded some more stuff to my account.
Also, although they don't seem to show in the original gallery view, I've got some writing on there as well. Go up to the "Category" box in the gallery and select "Prose", then click the Apply Browse Settings button to see 'em.
Most of the stuff in there I've posted on HLP (Although some of it's from a long, long time ago), some of it I've dug up from elsewhere. ;)
Edit: I had trouble thinking, because I've gotten no sleep and it's now 8 AM. :p I'm going to have some breakfast and then some kind of nap...preferably of the "power" variety.

Sounds interesting. Too bad I am vehemently against DevArt. :doubt:

LoL Raa. ;)
I recently joined too. Called myself OzGreg.
I'm yet to put anything up yet though...
It is also 7:15am here. I shall probably grab a bite and go for a power nap also. :)

[color=66ff00]I assume it's because tw@t is censored given then nature of the term in some countries.

and that brings the number of times I've seen censoring of twit screw up some normal(ish) word to four, VS the number of times someone has used the word and I've seen it getting censored zero

Why? tis a great place

Hypocritical policies.
I'll not say more. I already explained it to Grug...
-
This is why only things that qualify as fan works appear on my DA account, you see...
-
I can't find what's so bad about DeviantArt in the archives. Could someone explain to me why they don't like it or point me in the right direction?
-
The way it's operated upsets some people. I can see why... at face value they inspire abstract thought - but infact their operating policies actively encourage conformity to certain structures.
Myself, I find it a handy place to upload photography - I'm not really affected by their way of operating.
-
Buh, I figure it's a nice free place to upload stuff, that doesn't have a crapload of ads, doesn't take away your rights to your artwork, and lets people comment on your stuff.
Plus you can blog. If you use the right form. :p
-
On the contrary, should they deem anything you create unacceptable for any reason, and suspend your account, you lose all access to your art. Even the ability to remove it.

Too many stupid yaoi fangirls

Does have some questionable policies indeed. But its good for general usage by people who don't have anything that conflicts with their... style.
Meh.
LoL @ DarthWang. :p

*has a FurAffinity account*

*Says no more*
:p

I had you figured for SheezyArt, Raa...
There is more truth to DarthWang's statement then you might think...

I actually forgot about sheezy... >.> But I don't need multiple accounts. And FA is diverse enough, despite the name. They accept any and all kinds of art. Writing, images, music. Fur, not fur, photography. They're really open minded. Great people.
