I think he means the ACTUAL models...

And to answer your question, I've been wondering the same thing myself...

Personally, I canned the Wyvern (my entry), remodelled it, and am now ro-doing it again to fix 2/3 problems with it.

Hehe...I know that feeling. But it was definitely nice to load a rough test POF and see that Bobboau's Creed was not in vain.  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/wink.gif)

You mean the model contest?  I was rather dissapointed, so many people submited game-quality models instead of something better.

Simple reason, really- game quality models are a LOT easier to do.  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif) We can't all pull a Darkshear and whip something out overnight.  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif)

Come one, there was two bloody months!  Maybe not overnight, but given a couple weeks I would expect to see something that has a polycount in more than three digits.   (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/tongue.gif)

Why don't you make another contest... with this one requiring over 2000 polys... that'll produce good models(hopefully)

[edit]excuse me... maybe 20000 polys would be better  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif) [/edit]
