Two beacon fish float past the encrusted wreckage of a perseus, that crashed during training exercises.
Kudos to carl for converting the model for me because I'm lazy.

Well I see the Persus but what are those things floting in the water?

Um, beacon fish? And what's up with the weird smilie selection?
-
Woah, I love the lighting on that dude - it looks just right... I guess those fish give out a hell of a lot of light though (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)
And welcome to the HLPBB!

Very nice (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)
Now you could add some noise to the blue backgroung to make it look more like water... he... it looks like water, but... oh well, you got the point (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/wink.gif)

How about some bubbles floating up from the ship, too?
-
the ocean floor is too plain. all there is is a rock and sand. usually there would be more than one rock, right?
-
Maybe, I dive and I've been to 1000' in a DSRV it is possible to find a single large rock sitting in the middle of a sand bed with nothing around it,
-
I'm not the expert (you are here) but given the general lighting conditions, shouldn't there be more stuff around? It looks fairly close to the surface.

As I said to him in the WS, he could add a projector to a light coming from above. That could make sea look more real. He said that its too deep to have a light.
