Title: Uninstalling Retail FS2

I know this seems like a newb question, but do I need retail FS2 installed for SCP to work, or can I uninstall it and reclaim a gig of hard drive space?

Uhm, you do need the Retail FS2 as far as I know.

You need some of the vp files I think, but they can be dummy files (empty Dummy.txt in them), like in TBP. You do need some content if you want to play stg. depends on how you define "for SCP to work"

Basically you need it all. You can get away with deleting the tango vp files if you never want to play FS2's main campaign again (or go back to sticking the CD in) but all the models, sounds and interface art are still needed.
