I have a new little mini-campaign in development, and it needs testing! Here are some necessary details for testers:
- Absolutely no mods
- Retail Freespace 2, so both SCP and retail people can play it
- Currently only a litte bit over 10 missions, with some more in development
The ten-or-so missions that are ready have already been fully FREDed, briefed, debriefed, and packaged by me, though there is one small problem: they have not gone through many test runs by other players. I currently have two testers at the moment, though I would like some more for additional feedback and varied reviews.
Currently, I would like two or three extra testers. I wouldn't like any more than five or six; otherwise, I wouldn't have much of a release audience once the campaign is finished. ;)
If you are interested, reply here, or contact me via PM.

I'd be happy to test as well. Small campaigns are teh win. ;)
Be warned, I have been known to nitpick.

Might give it a go ... in return for THAT grammar patch on TCP. ;)
I won't reduce your release audience anyway cos I never play other campaigns. Partly to keep away from stealing ideas, but mostly in lack of freetime.
OK I feel that there is some contradiction .. never mind. :)

Uh, yeah, just a little bit of a contradiction there. Making missions is so much more work and time than playing them. Partly because, in my case at least, you have to play the same mission OVER AND OVER. (I'm quit sick to death of my most recent mission).
It's nice to see another campaign coming out, but I can't do any playtesting. :)

Awesome. :D I'll have the missions up for download later today, and I'll PM the link to you all.

have i done something wrong?
i un zipped to fs/data/missons

That seems to be more of a FS_Open bug than my mission, honestly, unless the ZIP was corrupted (which I doubt, since WMC had no problems with running the missions). Check out the Source Code forums and ask there.

nope. the same happens with retail if you simply extract the files to the missions folder. Somehow the campaign file gets into data\missions, but all mission files are extracted into a separate "rogues" subfolder. Just go into this folder and move the mission files to data\missions.

Ah. Bad ZIP compiling on my part. I'll post a better version in a few.
