well they are just collecting consumer's data so far, they only say that they MAY give it for free, if you register...
btw, there are many free pro or semipro 3d programs out there, including special versions of maya, xsi and 3dstudio. The problem usually is the fileformat in which they save, I'd like to know what formats that program uses before saying that it's useful or not
