On some topic long gone, I heard some people mention some group that does voice acting for modders.  

I tried the search many times, but no luck.  Can anyone tell me what this group is called, and maybe a link to their site?

Do you think there would be any interest in setting up a semi-formal group of FS voiceactors?  I've done voiceacting for one or two campaigns myself and really enjoyed it; I'd imagine that there are other people out there who would be interested in having a community resource for modders to go to.

That would be an excellent idea. Sure would help project leaders in the long run, not having to spend too much time on simply finding actors.

A semi-on-the-topic question: Do we really have any female voice actors in the Freespace community? I've noticed a couple of campaigns (like Homesick, or my two projects) have significant female characters, and it would really be a drag if campaigns like these couldn't get voiceacted.

TBP managed to find a couple of female voices. We only need to pursuade them that although TBP is great, FS2 is similarly great :)
