Well we've been working mainly on the maps and story (As well as a few weapon concepts that have not made it into the game yet) so we thought we'd release a quick teaser trailer with a little in-game footage.
What you see is NOT what you'll get, in this case. This trailer is just here to show that work is moving along nicely and that we are moving as fast as we can to get a demo out for you all.

I mean, hooray! Close Quarters demo! ;) Downloading now.
EDIT: Looks good so far. Would've preferred a battle sequence at one point (besides the Hallfight), but otherwise, I can't wait for this. ;)

Well, like I said, we are focusing on building the maps first. Once done then comes populating those maps with entities and triggers. Then adding new weapons, HUD etc.
A slow but fun process :)

Cool, keep it up. :) Everything seems a bit.... square at the moment. I hope you get some nice level design and details in there. Also, I think lighting will be very important, especially if you're having Shivan stuff. Dark and moody is the way to go. :)

If I may offer criticism:
Looks interesting, especially that of the hangar. However, it looks like your map has "Corridor (sp?) syndrome". Those enclaves are a nice addition to the hall, but they need to serve a purpose. They can't just be there for no particular reason, else you'll make one of the most common mapping mistakes known to humanity. If they're going to be there, give 'em a reason for being. Perhaps the end of the enclave has a door which can lead to a quarters, or maybe a flight of stairs leading to another level of the deck. Not to say that those enclaves are not needed, but the way they are doesn't help anything.
Anyway, keep up the good work. I hope to be gunning down rogue Vasudans and paladin Terrans real soon :D.

Anyone play Doom3? Don't design maps like that, with miles and miles of twisty corridor and the odd room. Remember, if the only way to Alpha 4 is by crawling over the machinery in Alphas 1-3, your map design is stupid. :D
