Hi peepz. Im currently writing on a FS2-fanfiction-story on the site in my sig and i need some feedback for it. Are there enough guys around here who understand german and could read it?
Im asking cause duplicating this 26000-words (and still growing) long story to this forum would be a piece of work, so i wanna know if there would be enough readers for it.
Thanks^^...:D

26k.... Well, I would read it. It has to be good of course. ;7
It's not up yet, right?
-
Well it is up, but only on the page in my sig.
And uhm i think its good, of course, (:D) but you, the reader should tell me, what you think.^^

I can't read German :( :p
Edit: forgot to mention. Dont think there are much German speaking people around here - but good luck anyway.

There are a few - IIRC there is substantial Teutonic involvement in the WCSaga and TBP projects - perhaps attract their attention somehow?
I can just about get through a basic conversation in German (or at least I could a few years back - I'm now horribly rusty), but reading it will be another matter...
I suppose you could try babelfish-ing it... :nervous:

LOL, this poor, very poor fishy...^^
No, i dont think, that this would be a good idea. ;) Wouldnt work from english->german too.
Well, i could translate it...but as i already said, nearly 26000 words...uhm...sorry*gg* ;)
Its enough work for me to keep writing.
But for the interested, a small introduction:
The story is settled around the son of Mason Nankam, boss of Nankam Aeronautical, Steven Nankam. He just finished his military education and is now on step into the life beyond school. His dream is founding a small company of professional "mercenaries" (This sounds so negativ, maybe service-providers fits more^^).
With the help of his father he gets his hands on a Deimos-corvette and "Sally", a very advanced A.I. which controls the ship. He "hires" his friends as pilots, to work together with him on patrol missions, escorts and what ever their employer wants from them. So, after time, they get their first escort-job to do. But exactly this first job brings them far away from home, farther than this young group has ever imagined...

[color=66ff00]Yeah babelfish is definately not up to transcribing grammar properly and even fudges the meanings on a few un-translatable words.
