How many of you use my version of the subspace vortex that I made a while back?

Never heard of it:D

All the links are broken :(
-
Yeah, sorry about that. My hosting space is gone for some strange reason.
-
Was thus the "twisty one" ?
edit: apperently not, wait, i know what this is, i'm using this, been using it for quite a while now. I actualy recently noticed some clipping errors with the blueish glow that need to be fixed
-
my atached version (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/forums/attachment.php?s=&postid=643243) still seems to be there, feel free to use that.
I think I have this version installed localy it was a very nice effect, with a relitively small memory foot print for the leel of quality that it was, could be made better with dds effs.

Never got around to trying it.
-
Anybody else? Or is that all. :blah:
-
I'm sure I have it in my archives...
(in my James Earl Jones voice)
Thulsa Doom:
"There was a time boy, when all that mattered was mods."
Conan:
"The Riddle... of Modding."
Thulsa Doom:
"Yes Boy, you know what it is don't you? What is a Mod, compared to the program it modifies?"
(James Earl Jones mode OFF)
Okay I dont know where I was heading with this, but it seemed funny when I stated typing it...
I never got around to opening the zip file, I'm sure it's on the big old FS2 modding central folder full of old VolitionWatch files on my alternate hard drive...
:)

I got it a few weeks ago due to this topic, and I think it rules. The only fault is that it hovers just a bit in front of the actual node (when you have 3Dwarp enabled, I haven't bothered checking with the default setting), which is extremely evident if you watch a Capship warp in perpendicular to yourself.
[EDIT] I only just realized that this comment was about a completely different subspace effect that I posted in the wrong topic :nervous: . Downloading this one to see what it's like...
[EDIT 2] Woah! That was different.... it's too early for me to decide if I like it more than the default or not (the normal warphole has always been one of those things that "defined" Freespace for me), but I'm definitely going to be playing with this thing for a while.

I just downloaded it and am trying it now.
