Title: How could I mix TBP with FS?

I'm just curious, how could I have, say, Shivans fighting the Earth Alliance? I'm assuming I'd have to combine tables and make sure the models/textures and everything were all in the right place.

And, I am aware that you won't get a Starfury in single player campaign without some campaign editting. Mainly curious about making some single missions with EA/GTVA V Shivans...

Any ideas? Is there a limit in the table files?

There is a limit, inherent to the program instead of the tables themselves, though.

I believe it's 130 ships for FSO and 250 or so for an INF build.  So, about five more ships could be added, or you could chop off some stuff you wouldn't be using to increase that number.

use an inferno build, and you can get upto 250 ships quite easily.

Counting up the ships in FRED2 I got to 112.

The only real choice you need to make is whether to copy the TBP folders over to your Freespace folder and run it as a Freespace mod or to copy your Freespace folder over to TBP and run it as a TBP mod :D

Isn't one of the TBP team working on a huge crossover campaign anyway though?
