Title: Cyrene Release

First successful ship Mod.  Completely done.  Ladies and Gentlemen.  The GTSC Cyrene.

I'm seeing about gitting it put into the HLP Mod section dl there and try it out.  Works with Vanilla, but its best with FSO.

I think it make a better awacs than science vessal. that ships shouldn't have anti cap beams maybe one AAA and some laser turrets.

And the tile... err.. tiling could be bumped up a bit, methinks. But :yes: to you for getting a working model out! :nervous:

I thought they looked like SBlues becasue of the size of the muzzle glow.

there was a blue beams pack released along time ago, and yes inferno uses blue beams

It's only weapons are AAAf and Maxim guns.  It was designed as an explorer vessel.   And yes, in the tables it is listed as an awacs, but I made it a Science vessel anyway.

@Raa:  Haven't played the first loop in the Main freespace 2 campaign in a while have we?  The Hinton had anti-fighter beams.

All right.  This is annoying.  I submitted the thing to the HLP Mod section yesterday and its still not there.  Perplexing.

You know I have a MAX file that looks a lot liek that, wasn't this rescued from a model dump by Aldo, Raven or Lars??? (like about 1-2 years ago)

@Robo:  Yes, my current project is to revive many of the abortions that have been released in modeldumps.  This one came from one of aldo's and needed textures and turrets.  

@WM:  Yes.   Look at the HLP home page.  They have a mod section.

@brugger:  That's the first place I went.  Wouldn't let me upload.  Told me it wasn't compatable with the file type or something.  Its an RAR archive so it should have worked.  If it doesn't pop up though that might be a good thing.  Forgot to include a readme:o

If HC gets working again I'll submit it their too.

[EDIT]  There we go.  To get the mod got to Hades Combine.[\EDIT]

Now I've got to decide what to do next:

Hades inspired redesign,
or,
New Carrier.

Decisions decisions....

Raa managed to get his Lizard craft up on HLP Mods just last month.  I think he'd probably be the best perseon to help you get this up.
