Title: Port don't give me any weapons!

I have a problem with port.  (well  beside the fact that i actually bought freespace 1 not knowing its stuck in 640x480 res).  Anyway I started the first mission with port, but i have no weapons what so ever.  I downloaded all the port packages but i still dont have them.  help?

I posted here because nobody hardly even goes on the FS Port forum, so its in general freespace.  It may help if it gets moved into freespace mod section of the hlp forum.  could that be done?

Make sure you don't have any other MODs installed. If you have any stray tables in your data/tables folder, remove or rename them.

You did put all your packages into the main folder right?

Are you using FS2 retail or FSOpen?

That's because there's only so much to discuss until someone needs help with it. As you can see, the responses come quick enough once someone's started a thread.

A: yes the files are in C:\Games\Freespace2
B: The retail i guess, (it aint freespace open).  I got it for free off of freespacezone.com and it says there that it is freeware.

i reinstalled it and put in the port mods and i now have weapons ppl!  thanks guys!
