50+ Hours? Nonstop gaming?
I don't know any person who could stomach playing any single game for 50 hours without sleep. :wtf:

Well I think someone has earned himself a space in the Darwin Awards.

Gamejunkie...

My thoughts exactly...

Haha! This guy made Jay Leno's monologue tonight!

You know, lately there has been so many asians, especially koreans who have died while playing some game. I don't know which is scarier, the fact that these are real cases or the fact that it's making a new stereotype for the koreans.

pfff, and i thought I was addicted to games.

I've gone for 50 hours without playing games.

Same here......Guess I'll have to try harder...:doubt:

again... didn't this same thing happen a few years back in China or something...
-
I think I've heard this happen at least 3 times in past few years. Always it has been an asian man, mostly a korean.

Me too.

Don't try this at home kids.
Do it in Internet cafes.

Whoa. My longest gaming time was when I was playing KotOR for three or four hours without stop. I wanted to play a kind of Quake III Marathon, but after forty or fifty minutes I got enough.
-
[color=66ff00]My longest run was 7 straight hours of Halo 1.
I went to the toilet after this time and was horrified when I looked in the mirror. I looked like someone had drained all the blood out of me, my skin looked grey.
Since then I've been rather more conservative in my gaming.

Koreans are SO addicted to Starcraft :jaw:
-
I think the longest I played a game was something like half 8 until half 3 in the morning, the day I bought Startopia. I had absolutely no ****ing idea of the time, of course.
-
Nonstop, I've gone 4 hours at most before I have to move around to the toilet or make food - its a good habit to exercise a bit every few hours or so, heck, every hour is the required norm I think.
Having an uncomfortable chair helps in making sure one's ass isn't on it for too long. :)

Ah, Startopia. I've been looking for that game lately. No idea where I could find it cheaply though, which is unfortunate because as silly as it may be it is about the most entertaining sandbox game I've played in quite a while.

First thing I did after getting the game was play about halfway through the campaign (to the end of 343 Guilty Spark) for about 8 hours till midnight. Being the first time I played through the game, I got seriously creeped out by 343 Guilty Spark (playing that level at midnight in the pitch black doesn't help) and decided enough was enough.

Something like that yeah. Gaming addiction is getting to be a huge problem there
I heard a story of a kid who stayed up all night playing games at a net cafe. On the way home he fell asleep on some railroad tracks. A train came along and......well......you have a pretty good idea of what happened next.
Then there was also the guy who killed another guy for selling a magic sword or something in an MMORPG of some kind.
-
Yeah that one was on the news aswell, I think it was WoW.
My longest gaming run was about 12h of OFP. Actually it was 12h on sat-sun night (then some sleep on sunday) and another 12h on sun-mon night. We has a small LAN-party with my neighbors :D
That happened when I was studying... I even went to school after that. Needles to say I was quite out of it during the class :p

When I got Half Life 2, I spent about 14 hours playing it before I realised I should have lunch.
It'd finished installing at about 3am. I was playing it until 5:30pm. So breakfast might've been a good idea, and lunch should've been quickly followed by dinner.
Don't think I've ever played a game for more than 23 hours straight (and that was Diablo 2 LoD).
-
Worse I've done was when I was aroud 15. Got a bunch of friend to come to my house (nearly ten people). Linked up the PC. Mostly played Half-life and Midtown Madness. Didn't sleep for 36 hours, and only a few breaks here and then for food and 'sanitary' reasons. Slept like a log for 15 hours after, though.

Wow. Worst for me is probably ~10 hours playing Homeworld. I played through the main campaign twice, then played God-knows-how-many skirmishes. I went upstairs and fell asleep after that (yeah, at five in the afternoon).
