Title: If you happen to be in a non overcast part of the UK...
Post by: Martinus on August 11, 2005, 04:56:01 pm
[color=66ff00]...and you know your way around the night sky have a look for the Perseid meteor shower, it peaks tomorrow but you should be able to see them for a while after.

They're pretty close to the constellation Perseus and should put on quite a show. If you're unsure take a look at a star map. :nod::yes:

[color=66ff00]Hopefully.

BTW viewing is obviously not restricted to the UK (the sky's pretty big afterall), just me speaking from my own little bit of the planet. :nod:

Unfortunately, it's a tad cloudly here.

Bristol.

Seriously.

It's been bloody boiling here the last few days. I've been expecting hordes of demons to break through at any moment. And I just wish someone would turn off the light in the Big Room; I'm not sure I can afford the electricity bill it must be racking up.

Even if the clouds cleared, all I'd get was light pollution :(
