Title: How do I get the movies to work when using FSO?

I've gotten all the nifty graphical upgrades but I can't get the movie files to work. Can someone give me exact instructions on how to get them working again? I've read the FAQ from the SCP but I don't really get it (http://www.grauswein.net/freespace.htm). Do I copy and paste the command line (-fsp.exe [MVE_SOURCE] [AVI_OUTPUT])? And how do I get the intro movie working? It seems like it asks for specific instructions but I just don't get it... I do have VirtualDub though.

Do you have the movies in .avi format? Just stick them into your main Freespace directory.

And make sure you have a build later than 3.6.5; the cutscenes don't work with it.

So all I have to do is just take the movies out from the discs and convert them? But how do I convert them?

Well got all the videos, but where do I extract them? I put them in the general root folder (C:\Games\FreeSpace2) but they won't show up when I launch with FSO.

Oh, I think the problem is that I have 3.6.5. Where can I get the latest build?

basically extract it to your freespace 2 directory, then using the launcher, browse for the newer file, and then you hit apply and it should run.  And we were all noobs once so it dont really matter.
