Microsoft just butchered the best FPS game on console.
-
Old news really :)
I don't see it as having a huge impact on the game. The Bungie guys were consulted and reportedly liked it...althought that could be BS as well. Who knows.

Microsoft spokesman Carlos de Leon declined to comment on the terms of the movie deal as well as on speculation that the software giant would launch its "Halo 3" game title alongside the movie.
"We haven't made any announcement on the launch of 'Halo 3'," he said.
Well if this is true then its pretty much a gaurantee that the X-box 360 will stay full price till 07. :doubt:
-
Might not be too bad....heard the guy that wrote the first and third halo books is the one behind the story; and that unlike most other movies, Bungie actually developed the script in-house and is only looking for a hollywood producer sort of a thing......
-
Time will tell if its a good movie or a crap one.

What are you talking about? Microsoft hasn't butchered GoldenEye 007 for N64...

It's a video game move, it'll be ****e. Law of the land.
Oh, and I read MS does not have final approval; http://www.gamecloud.com/article.php?article_id=1205
