Antecedences:
My keyboard sometimes does not recognise I pressed T, so I typed in 'raining' instead of 'training'. They apparently form a rhyme and both of them have a meaning, so they'd fit in a verse. So I was inspired and quickly wrote this:
I want to continue my training
but outside it is raining
and it is so cold
not to mention I am so old
Fencing would be cool,
I could engage any fool
with a saber in hand
and a turret on the land
I know I act towards the Dark side
What could turn the tide?
Patience is what I need to learn
and some experience to earn
I must walk in the path of light
and not engage anyone in a fight
I makes little sense, I know, but it was worth an attempt anyway.

It's not exactly Edwin Morgan, but it's not bad. Especially for a non-native speaker, because it must be a right bugger trying to think in rhyme in a foreign language.

It's good. You might want to continue on with it, and don't worry, you can break the rhyme. No one will kill you if you do. ^_^

Robert Frost ain't got nothin' on you.

It's good. Keep it up. Like aldo said, it must be tough to try to write poetry in a foreign language, so I salute your effort.
