Dunno if this should be its own thread or in here, but how about a Wiki forum? I know it seems a tad ridiculous, but the nature of this place is that people check the forums a hell of a lot more than they would the discussion section of some random article. If someone did up an article on the Collossus, for example, they could use the forum to ask for a full script of the cutscene on the forum and have it noticed by someone who can hel within minutes or hours, or they could ask for it on the discussion page of the Collossus article and maybe wait weeks or months before someone who had a script happened to see it.

My Grognards access got yoinked - am I going to get it back, or did I lose it for a reason?
Also, can I make an official request for [colour] tags? My posts are looking sloppy ;)
Well, success on those fronts. On the Wiki front, however, could we
A) Get access to the old one (even if it's just as a zip or something) for poting over and
B) Get the image posting forum off the ground. We've been offered another uploader, but I'd prefer to keep all the images on the one server so that the images can't go down separate to the wiki itself and leave the whole thing full of broken image links.

EDIT: No, I'm not a mod. But I think access was removed for me, then restored - or maybe I just missed seeing the forum one day. Someone want to check why I still have access and remove it if necessary? :)

Can you give Prophet access to the The Babylon Projects Campaign fourm thanks.
Hosted project staff should use the Hosted Sites Support Forum from now on. Private forum permissions are handled on usergroup basis, to grant Prophet an access to the Campaigns forum would also grant him access to your main private forum. Please confirm if you want to add him. Thank you. -Fury

For a bit of a suggestion, the forum index, private messages, and profile should be accessible from the Jump To menu.

Could I have perms to lock my own threads, and/or delete posts in my own threads, in the FSURP forum for threads like this one (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/topic,36772.0.html).
Also, redmenace should probably have an FSURP avatar as well, since he put together the last two mVP patches. :)
Edit: I've no SCP internal privs, either. I noticed karajorma does now, though, so I'm asking again.

Has there been an overhaul on the FSU staff as well as the project in general, i seem to have lost access to the internals (if they still exist).
[sandy]What used to be known as the FSU is now Unsung Heroes. It's far better suited to be its own campaign rather than a SCP thing. Avatar (temporary, at least) and access granted.[/sandy]

Is there a particular reason I am not allowed to use the search utility in this forum? If not, can I have that enabled? It'd probably keep me from bothering those that have already been here awhile with questions that have been answered before. Thanks. -Peri
As we've stated before the search function is down for the time being until we get the server issues ironed out.

I syndicate the news on the SCP site, currently, the RSS feed on the new HLP site is still pointing to Gamespy, as is the image I use to link.
Check out the SCP site to see the image. Let me know what URL I should use for RSS and the image.
Wasn't sure where else ot put this, so it goes in requests ;)

Ever since the server change, all images shown on the forums (full size) have been cropped horizontally so as to fit inside the border of the post frame. Previously, the frame would be streched out to accomodate the size of the shown image, but now the forum simply crops off any amount of the right side of any image that stretches beyond the frame of the given post, which can prove to be exceedingly frustrating when most images cannot be clicked to view in a seperate window. Could I get clarification on whether it's a forum problem or simple ignorance on my part? (If it's just ignorance on my part, PM with the fix and delete the post if possible.)

It is a forum feature. When posting links to large images, use [ lvlshot ] instead of [ img ] As an example, I have lvlshotted the BSG image you had in your screenshot. -Fury

Is it possible to make it more obvious when a new private message is received?
I'm finding I don't spot the bloody thing till the posts are often a month old.
Go to your profile --> personal message options > turn on "Notify by email every time you receive a personal message" and "Show a popup when you receive new messages?". -Fury
Also, does a Grognards exist? Should I have access? Where is it? o.O

It was originally set up so that anyone who was a moderator was automatically a Grognard. We can't do that with SMF, unfortunately. -G5K
