I dont know if this is an old question, but what I really like about flight sim games are their ability to padlock an enemy target in both internal and external views. How feasible is such an implementation? I'd really like the BSG project to make use of internal 3d cockpits in a practical and immersive way.

I started to implement it, but had some trouble figuring out the maths involved. There may actually be some kind of padlock keystroke in the options screen from my attempt.
