The website for FreeSpace Parallel Universe will be up tomorrow, Feburary 5th 2001. I began work on it tonight and its coming along nicely. I'm planning on getting it hosted here once its up because the hosting requirement is that i need an early version of the website up.
FSPU Website will include
- Ships overview- both non-flyable and flyable
- trueSpace Renders
- Weapons overview
- Storyline
- Ingame Screenshots

yea i'm putting up now. I won't be able to that many updates due to real life™ but I'll get around to it.

I have the main page, ships, and weapons up.. i'm looking for renders on wednesday.
also: for the weapons, they are new weapons not the only ones you get... same goes for ships too.

Are you looking to get hosted? If so, I don't think that it would be a problem to be hosted here, (assuming you want to) although I believe that you'll have to have a (mostly) complete site up so the 3Dap people can okay it. I recall that they have to okay any hostings we take on.

I once thought about making a campaign where the story was the Shivans did win and destroyed Earth as well. The surviving Terran and Vasudans formed a small resistance in the outer reaches of known space and are trying to win back systems one by one. I think it should be called liberating.
Anyway, there are no GTF Myrmidons. No beams cannons and flak guns for the resistance because they don't really have the resources to develop weapon technology until they aquire some stolen Shivan weapon technologies. No Helios either. So, you can imagine going up against a Sathanas without beam cannons or Helios.
But, I scrapped that idea because I think it was a bit too ambitious and time consuming for me.
Anybody want to try a hand at it?

hmmmm somewhat similar but it sounds good.
I also have renders of the GTSD Sirius and GTJ Sol up. I'll have the renders page up once I get off my lazy @$$.
