A-ha was great, Rock Lobster was OK, but the Four Peters was golden.
And that scene with Lois's father listening to Ride of the Valkyries, oh that was hilarious to me, on a memorex tape.  (I thought the brand name in the show was Maxell though, not memorex..)

Especially since that scene is a spoof of a hifi audio ad from ages past ;)

 Never understood why Family Guy didn't become anywhere near as popular as the Simpsons. While only almost as good it didn't get almost the same ratings in the US or over here.

It's because of FOX, they're just plain retarded in cases like this. They are (or, at least, were) in the mindset that Cartoons should only exist for younger children, not the older audiences that Cartoons such as Family Guy or Futurama (similarly cancelled :() aim for. The Simpsons is aimed at a wider age group, and was able to garner a very large following because of it...

...The reason Family Guy, and other programs such as Futurama, never obtained a following ala The Simpsons, was because FOX shuffled the programs around so much, giving them wierd time slots and very little advertising. This meant that the show couldn't find an audience, because the audience couldn't find it! I believe Family Guy alone had Six completely different time slots in only Two years, which is just insane. This is a real sore point for fans of said series, which has only be recently reconciled with the Fourth Season of Family Guy currently showing, and a possible Futurama come-back on the horizon...

A thread was posted about it recently. I think it was a movie rather than a new series though IIRC.

That's why you just flip on Adult Swim and get both shows every weekday. :D

More Bender! More Futurama!

Any show that makes subtle Foundation jokes deserves long life.
