Title: I'm getting pretty good at this...

Since my computer is broken and I've got nothing else to do, I once again started making planets with my dad's laptop (512mb ram is way too little, but I manage). All three use the same base texture.

First one is an arid planet with huge canyons criss-crossing along the surface.

The second version could be the first planet after a few million years. The ravines are filled with dark blue waters and plants are starting to take over.

And then something went badly wrong...

But to be honest, I like a more stylized atmosphere look.

Awesome work. I wish I could do that.

One thing though:
The first two planets have an awefull lot of landmass. Maybe you should consider putting some oceans on those.

The last one looks like the volcano planet in Episode 3.

Yeah, I sometimes make the glow bigger and less realistic, but in this case I felt it wasn't fitting. A matter of taste, as you said.

Realy very good planets:nod: :yes:  Specialy i like second.
There is one small thing that you could change - clouds, on yours pictures we can bearly see them.

They were planned from the beginning to be put into TBP :D

@c914: Yeah, I know. The barely visible clouds were done partially on purpose, partially because I had some problems with combining the layers in Photoshop. They look fine on these planets, but I'll look into the issue later.
