So much for internet 2's purity........
-
They have the willies just thinking about people trading HD movies in 3 seconds or less.
-
I like that idea.
Ice's idea.
-
Just wait, once I2 becomes available to the public, somebody somewhere in the world will figure out a way to break the DRM part of it. Another few million dollars down the drain........
I do think it is interesting the RIAA was willing to join them considering that the RIAA sued them earlier this year......
-
I hate the RIAA and MPAA with a passion now.
-
Most places with Internet2 access already have pretty strong access restrictions, so this is rather pointless.
-
This really caught my eye.
[q]But a year ago, I2 moved 859GB of data across the network between Geneva, Switzerland and Pasadena, California in less than 17 minutes, a transfer rate of 6.63 Gbits/s.[/q]Holy ****. Where do I sign up?
-
okay excuse my ignorance, but Internet 2?
-
it's exactly what it sounds like a new internet that a bunch of people are developing.
-
Now we just need a pair of tactical nukes. One for the RIAA's headquarters, and one for the MPAA's.
