is there a keyboard turtorial how the setings are ingame
this because i want to chance them and make a keybord layout

You can change the keyboard layout and assign keys, mouse or joystick functions to wthat you want.  This is done by pressing F2 during game, control config then change what ever you want.  The game is much better with a joystick or gamepad.  I use a saitek rubmble force gamepad which works a treat with fs;)

I actually have the original Freespace keyboard layout that came with the game of the year addition back in 1999. I can scan/email it.
