Also, the X800GTO is about to hit retail as well, its an upgraded version of the X800GT, and its set to compete with the Geforce 6800: ATI's Daily Roadmap Shuffle.  Another X800 Part on the Horizon (http://anandtech.com/video/showdoc.aspx?i=2512)

That's mass production, not retail. You won't see it in retail for at least 1-2 months after production starts, so say October at the earliest, and December at the latest.

Finally, the fact that it was announced back in May without a whisper of availability even to the media until now is a very bad sign for ATi, as paper launches are some of the worst things you can do.
