For asking this, I am degrading every part of my status physically and mentally.

I need the latest SCP weapons.tbl.  There is no sign of a weapons table in any part of my FS2 installation.  I do not want to change the fsroot.vp, so I would like to have a download link to the latest weapons.tbl, please.

I must be a noob.

It will be in one of the media.vp files. Can't remember which one off the top of my head.

All FS2 VP files are suffixed with "_fs2.vp". It sounds to me like something else is going on here...are you sure that the FS2 VP files are installed in the right folder?

Here's my story:  I installed FS2.  I put the SCP .vp's in my main fs2 folder.  I added some extra goodies.  I saw no sign of either table.

I installed a macintosh version to my mac once, and it had both tables.
This can be solved without question if I can get a download link for the tables.  If i stick a table in my tables folder, it uses that one instead of the regular table, though.

My mistake with the misspelling of root_fs2.vp.

The Mv_effects.vp contains a weapons.tbl, this takes priority over the weapons.tbl in your root_fs2.vp, as long as you don't have an actual weapons.tbl file somewhere in your FS2 folder.

You'll need software called VPView to read the weapons.tbl in the VP file.

He'll need more than that considering that he's on a Mac. :)
