Title: ARRSEpedia
Post by: aldo_14 on September 14, 2005, 01:24:11 pm
Stumbled onto this by complete fluke looking for a ref-pic of a chaingun

ARRSEpedia - The British Military Open Encyclopedia (http://www.arrse.co.uk/wiki/index.php/Main_Page)

Sample entry; http://www.arrse.co.uk/wiki/index.php/Warrior
[q]Warrior

From ARRSEpedia

Great big thrumming beast of a thing with a big growly engine and full of blokes who, when not asleep or having a wank in the drivers compartment, are the best Infantry in the world.

Goes really quick anywhere you want to take it.

To compensate for its speed, presence and protection it is equiped with comedy weapons that need precognitive abilities (Think I'll need HE in three rounds time) or (when using the Chaingun), a patient and slow moving enemy, "firing now", BANG, clunk, "stoppage, feck hang on a bit - bollocks dropped the spinny thing" [/q]

From the Chaingun entry.

Quote
The greatest contributer to British Military casualty figures since Haig's Chief of Staff missunderstood the General's morale boosting idea of a "Song and Dance" and instead initiated the shockingly wasteful Somme Advance in 1916.

This thing breaks, it burns, it bites, it runs away and it explodes, all without a single round going anywhere near the target. The man who invented this was being noshed off at the time, either that or he was a blind, fingerless man from Albania.

You're better off throwing your helmet at the advancing hordes

 Great find :)

From 'Wagon' entry...

Armoured Fighting Vehicle, usually Warrior, commanded by Heroes, driven by VC winners, carries seven sleeping blokes in the back. Has a 30mm Rarden comedy gun and 7.62mm food blender mounted co-axially.

LOL

Royal Navy

From ARRSEpedia
Gang of uniformed bottom touchers boasting big boats and long thick tubes full of seamen.

Nearly all members are homosexual and those that aren't are lesbian Wrens.

Often seen discharging weapons on B-range

Too much exposure to the Royal Navy can lead to Bum desease.

What is a "desease"? Is it more virulent than a disease?

Vile slander, that dates back to the admitted tendency of an older generation of Matelots to knob Kaitais, He-Shes and Lady-Boys in Singers back in the day.

The modern RN are bronzed, suave purveyors of staunchly hetero Porksword to the less aesthetically blessed ladies in the furthest corners of the Globe.

Unfortunately, the RN have the wankest Service newspaper out, "Navy News"

Anya - But you don't see us complaining with the paid trips around the world. And lack of work? More pay than the average pongo for jack sh1te.

Yep. I was going to warn people about that. First thing I did after posting the chaingun entry was look up the other forces and the entry for the SAS :D
