Can't friggin decide! Sometimes I practicly finish the model, but I spend days tring to decide on the best scale/purpose (if I allready hadn't before)

So where should I put this station? It has 5 fighterbays/hangarbays, one repair/dock arm, habitation rings and sections and several docking masts.
civilian or military?
big (Orion fits repair arm) or small (Deimos fits repair arm)

Big civilian repair station. The style is too removed from the Arcadia to make it something akin to a military installation, but it does have that civiliant/habbitation look about it.
-
Definitely looks civvy to me, and I could easily see it as a larger repair station.
-
Looks like a space office building to me, for some reason. :wtf:
-
Its a civilian installation, no doubt. Probably a truckstop. :D
-
Poll results are still inconclusive... :(
The big and civilian got most votetes so far, but the urpose is a tie between repair/trade and research.
-
I think the model will be more suitable in a big Medical Station.
-
Big Military Research.... Innovations in design are not that far removed plus so little is known about their station styles. Plus the Arcadia, aside from horrible maps, was a Jack of all trades...
-
Medium General Research Outpost
Be a good Ghost Ship in my opinion
-
Looks like the Ticonderoga outpost from the Starship Troopers movie IMO.
Looks good as a big commercial center too, though. Terran counterpart of the Karnak, maybe?

Just a stupid question.
What is the max size we can put to a station or ship ? ( > 10 Km ? ).

The quetion of scale was weather the repair/construction arm could comfortably fit a Orion/Hecate or something smaller like a Deimos - as that's the two scale settings I'm looking at.
