I was working with a SSD Vengeance for my Star Wars mod, I take time to fredding a mission and modify my ships.tbl to include this new ship.
I launched my mission into the Techroom, the loading process began until it reach the end of line (99%) and then came the disaster,
Fs2_Open crashed.
I don't know why it crashed. Is it because my model is too big ? (12 Km )
I tested a SSD Vengeance without turrets, and it crashed too.
How many ships could we add into the ships.tbl ? Does it have a limited number of ships ? If yes, how many ? if no, what could be mess up with my model ?

There are a hundred different reasons why it might not be working. Try replacing the POF with something you know works (like the Colossus) and see if it crashes; if not, then it's a problem with the model.
You said you can use the model in FRED. Can you view it in the tech room as well? (If it doesn't show up there, go to the lab [F3 on the main hall] and select it.) The size of the model doesn't matter, Inferno has modeled entire planets.
What version of FS2 Open are you running, and what did you use to make and convert the model?

I can view the model with the F3 on the main hall, I can select it with no trouble.
I was running on the last built from redmenace (14092005).
And I used the same software as others models (Truespace 3.2, POF CS 1.3).

Hmm, it seems Fs2 open has ships limitation. If i delete one of my cruiser and place the SSD instead, all works fine.
Are there a possibility to include more than that limitation ?

Try an Inferno build.

Which built ? The one from the Inferno 1 ? or the new for Inferno 2.0 ?
Because the only I have it's from the 1.0.
