Title: What does a GED consist of?
Post by: TopAce on September 17, 2005, 05:01:56 am
I started learning American Studies (and Italian) at the University and I heard about an exam called a GED, General Education Degree. What is this exam about? What subjects does this include, how difficult is it, what can you do with it?

I am becoming interested in what I am learning eventually. :)

As far as the Prof. said, this exam is enough to take up a large number of jobs which does not need any special qualification.

I thought GED was graduate equivalency diploma, essentially equivalent to a high school diploma.  Fairly basic science, math, ect.

GED is what you normally take when you are either unable or unwilling to finish high school.
