Title: Small question regarding FTPs
Post by: Singh on September 18, 2005, 05:03:24 am
Ok, I have a teeny question regarding some FTP program error. I am unable to upload anything to the freespaceserver, despite using a variety of programs - however using the default ftp.exe that came with windows allowed me to trace this error:

"netout software caused connection abort
connection closed by remote host"

So, any idea what's causing this? I really, really need the webspace badly (have something nice to put up) so if it is the freespaceserver problem, then is it possible for someone to spare a bit of space (around 45-46mb) on their FTP servers? :(

Once freespaceserver comes up, I promise to switch the file over to there

Depending on what it is, YouSendIt (http://yousendit.com) might be a good temporary fix.

Not really. I'd still like to put it up somewhere for general viewing, if possible. I've tried filezilla, and neither can it go through at all (stuck at 83kb).

seriously...I need some help here please :(

All im uploading is a vid file (sfx archived to a .exe) that I want to post in the arts forum. If bandwitdth is an issue, then I wouldn't recommend it....
