Yes! They silenced Jesus!
Now, perhaps, those of us in the South can go about our business without the 'thumpers being so bloody annoying.

Old news. Apparently Cartoon Network has a zero-tolerance ban on the word "Jesus". Aqua Teen Hunger Force has a whole episode making fun of it.
-
Enlighten me, please.
Was it censored because it's offends christianity and Jesus in that sentence or 'cos atheists don't want to hear such word?
-
Blasphemy.
To the over sensitive, anyways.

 Good point.

You see, God is omnipotent, but he does not give a **** about meaning. What is really important to him is form. So typing "God" would be blasphemy, but typing G_d is ok. Well he knows you mean "God", but hey - you didn't write it, you're a-OK in his book!

Well, according to the third of the Ten Commandments, you're not supposed to use the Lord's name in vain. That would include Jesus' name. To be honest, it's not that hard to not say God, Jesus, Lord, etc when I stub my toe or some such thing. "Ow" has always worked for me. As for why they censored the name, for Christians or Atheists, I have no clue.

In Jewish tradition - where the ten commandments come from - it's basically "do not use God's name in vain in oaths" and so on. It does not forbid of saying "well maybe god likes hamburgers", it forbids saying "I swear to God I am a hovering chair of rectangles" or something similary false. In Christian tradition it's basically forbidding the use of Lord's name in lies, mischief and other evil deeds. So do not use it to represent something disrespectful.
Basically the weird censoring of Christian symbols (holy trinity, more or less) is pretty American thing in my narrow experience.
