"Don't You Just Love Being In Hard Light?"
-
Edit please, don't double post if you can help it :)
And anyway, it's no big deal, I was just wondering because I've been seeing a couple of them pop up quite a bit. Probably due to the characteristically vague topic titles of Hard Light.

dutch? do they even have an airforce? It was the danish airforce, though. And I'd feel bad about any reindeer having to spend his time that far south.

Countries in Europe may be small but they are armed to the teath! I read an article about the Swiss' defences, I think like every single person is trained as a soldier or doctor and owns like 3 guns, an antitank weapon, and one of those cool knifes.
-
What's with confusing 'Dutch' with 'Danish'?
The Dutch have an airforce, obviously. They did before the war. ;p
-
The Swiss are insane.

If thats true I bet the crime rate's low:p

The Swiss are cool! They are hard core enough to enforce their neutrality.
-
That does not stop them from being insane.
-
Insane?

don't know about forward swept, but... JAS (http://www.machtres.com/JAS%2039%20GRIPEN.jpg). we have quite a lot of high tech weapons even though we haven't been at war for 200 years. our submarines are cool, too. even the us navy (http://www.defenselink.mil/releases/2004/nr20041029-1452.html) admits that.
-
 Sorry I was thinking of this one (http://www.lerc.nasa.gov/WWW/K-12/BGA/Monroe/0528ef1115.gif), you guys have some good stuff. Our air force hase fallen behind since the end of the cold war and all the budget cuts.
But our navy is stepping into the future, James Bond style (http://www.mediacen.navy.mil/pubs/allhands/aug99/6a.jpg)
On the other hand I think Isreal hase the best army. Or at the least the coolest guns.

Apparently, during World War 2, behind the Yoke of an Aircraft, nothing on this planet can match a Polish pilot for pure insanity ;)
-
LOL!!! :wakka:
My grandpa told me a sttory about that, I guess one of his uncles was a piliot there.

Heres a quick roundup of the unsung heroes of the BoB. My Grandfather always had massive respect for the Polish pilot in his squad, because he never bugged out, and if he ran out of bullets, he'd aim the plane at the nearest bomber, and fly into it ejecting at the last second, that alone was enough to make bomber squadrons turn around on occasions. And by God, did they not like Germans back then ;)
